Discover the amazing Burren region, starting off at the Kilfenora visitor centre, which offers exhibitions and audio-visual display for an overview of natural history, geological features and time-line of human settlements in the area. Besides you can avail of the tea room and well stocked craft shop before taking a stroll to the nearby medieval Kilfenora Cathedral and famous High Crosses.
A few miles further on we invite you to a walk in the Burren Geopark with stunning views, vast stretches of rugged limestone pavement, windswept hazelwoods, seasonal turlochs and Burren flowers, followed by a visit to a mountain goat farm with Holy well, a secret ring fort and home-baked treats for you. Again, we will arrange a tasty evening meal in a comfortable setting, with time to rest and digest the many impressions of the day.
